We are excited to announce a major new release of ScaleOut Digital Twins. With this release, ScaleOut Digital Twins is now available as a feature set within the ScaleOut Product Suite and runs side-by-side with ScaleOut Active Caching. In addition to simplifying installation, this release adds new features, including improved Java and C# templates, support for binary messages, the ability to add and remove servers during simulation, and more.

ScaleOut Digital Twins runs on ScaleOut’s in-memory computing platform to provide real-time monitoring, analytics, and queries for live systems with thousands or even millions of data sources. It uses object-oriented software design to separately track telemetry from individual data sources. Fast, scalable, in-memory data storage enables real-time analytics and eliminates bottlenecks in accessing live data by generative AI models. ScaleOut Digital Twins also enables the creation of simulations with thousands of interacting components.

With version 5, ScaleOut Digital Twins is now installed using the standard product installer (version 6.4.0.411) on both Windows and Linux systems. It can be installed either on premises or in public clouds. To simplify installation, previous dependencies on Docker and external authentication providers (Azure B2C and IdentityServer) have been removed, and ScaleOut’s in-memory compute cluster has been integrated into the installation.
