ScaleOut Software CEO William Bain will deliver a talk at the Digital Twin Tech Summit 2026, taking place June 24-25, 2026 at the Park Plaza Victoria in Amsterdam. His session, "Using Digital Twins with Generative AI to Analyze Live Systems at Scale," is scheduled for June 24th at 2:45 PM.
As modern infrastructure grows more complex, organizations face a fundamental challenge: how do you continuously monitor and analyze live systems that span thousands of data sources? The talk describes how to address this challenge by building a digital twin of the live system using in-memory computing. This digital twin can be monitored by generative AI to deliver powerful new insights. Examples illustrated in the talk include vehicle fleets, port operations, and air traffic control systems.

Dr. William L. Bain is the founder and CEO of ScaleOut Software, which has been developing software products since 2003 designed to enhance operational intelligence within live systems using scalable, in-memory computing technology. Bill earned a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Rice University. With over a 47-year career focused on parallel computing, he has contributed to advancements at Bell Labs Research, Intel, and Microsoft, and holds several patents in computer architecture and distributed computing.
